I just wanted to give you a quick update that my gym buddy network system is working great. I have gotten myself to the gym more than once this week. Just knowing that a friend is waiting has worked wonders in motivating me to get to the gym.
I am also trying to make social appointments to meet at the gym instead of going out to eat. So far, this strategy hasn’t worked that great. I have asked a few friends if they want to meet up at the gym so that we can work out and catch up, and gotten rejection from all of those I invited. I don’t think I will give up though. I figure if I ask often enough, some day, some one will want to come work out with me to the gym.
